Testimonials

“I started training with Bobby 3 months after moving to Montreal to be a professional dancer. I had been looking forward to training under him for years. With high expectations, I can happily say that I got more than I could ever ask for.

How often do you see and feel concrete results in your training? I feel like we’ve all been there ; feeling stuck, stagnant. This program brings you all the resources you need to achieve those results. Bobby invested so much time, energy and love into our 6 months. I got exercises, stretches, a sleep schedule, feedback on my social media, I got to work on my mental health and blocks, I got to feel seen and heard for who I truly am. I always felt safe and understood, and all of that without feeling coddled.

My retention is better, my movements are sharper, cleaner, textures more pronounced and I got inspired to move in ways that were new to me. With more tools/skills, I got more confident. More importantly, I found a mentor who understands how to work with me and push me.

I am not saying it was easy or effortless. I cried and sweated so much. I worked hard, got frustrated and was uncomfortable. However, I can genuinely say that I couldn’t have done more and I would do it all over again. Best investment I have done for myself.

Grateful is not even enough. Grateful to myself and to Bobby.”

“I’m really thankful for getting to meet Christbob in such an important and risk-taking time in my life. He made me view my current situation in a much more positive light. I come from a country where self-development and mental health are viewed as a bad thing, so all my problems were always condensed and hidden within myself. The fact that I managed to open up, talk about my situation and received such great advice, understanding and empathy made me feel really secure.

I feel like our time together had a really great value in my decision taking process and offered me a better understanding of how to start my ‘self-development’ journey. Even though it is hard to change specific life-long habits at once, I learned that there is always a great time for changing and being a better version of yourself.”

“The 6 months with Christbob was really an amazing journey, before the coaching session, I’ve been dancing for about two years already, and what made me turned to the coaching session is that I’m feeling confused of how to improve, and what makes me really confused is that I don’t like my way dancing, which put me into a hard time of enjoying dancing.

The sessions were really structured! And I love this!!! Every target was very clear and I was able to see every single change that I have made! Also we do work on how to make my own choreo, and this is definitely what impressed me the most!

Bobby is an amazing teacher!!! He helped me go through all the way from how to listen to the music to creating different pictures in the choreo. Every time I get a question, there are always more than two different answers that he could offer.

I just want to say, I was so grateful for having this 6 month session with him, and I did improve a lot , more than I could imagine.”

“This was honestly the best part of my dance journey so far. I've been dancing for five years, but the growth and improvement I saw during these six months were incredible. Bobby really helped me nail down the basics and get over mental blocks to dance with more confidence.

What I love about Bobby's training: it’s not just about dance. He focuses on self-improvement, physical fitness, and mental strategies that have helped me in so many areas of my life. The things I've learned have made a huge difference, both in and outside the dance studio.

I can't recommend Bobby enough. If you're passionate about dance but need some direction, Bobby's your guy. He knows what he's doing and can help you take your dancing to the next level.”

“Christbob helped me clean moves which emphasized the importance of precision, timing, sharpness and the transitions in between the moves. Christbob was a very demanding teacher on the quality of execution. After 3 months, I had improved tremendously in my capability of memorizing a choreography, picking up the correct timing and extending my moves.

There is also a self-assessment form to be filled out once per month for a milestone check. The form included self-reflection questions for both areas of improvement and personal attitudes, which I found was very helpful for summarizing my growth within a period of time and receiving ongoing positive mental feedback from myself. Christbob also gave me a lot of support and advice for life in general, and I started to realize the importance of mental health for a dancer and my full-time career.

As a patient coach and a kind human being, I greatly appreciate Christbob for acknowledging my potential and encouraging me to try new things. I would highly recommend anyone to take classes from or work with Christbob because you will for sure learn valuable things from him, no matter from his dance or his personal quality and work ethic.”

“Bobby was able to identify what was blocking me and put the emphasis on it. The online courses worked on my mental strength, but they also taught me to trust myself more and go for what I wanted. The in-person classes were really there to push my physical limits and learn how to unlock what is preventing you from being at 100%. I particularly remember a class where I had to spend at least 30 minutes in front of the mirror practicing facial expressions. I left the class wanting to continue practicing at home to prove to myself that I could do it.

Bobby is an incredible coach. He tells the truth without beating around the bush, and the atmosphere of his classes is encouraging and makes us want to always give more!

Ultimately, the program is amazing for dancers who want to surpass themselves and are not afraid to push their limits, but above all, who are ready to overcome obstacles.”
